Toyota has just launched a new car facelift Toyota Fortuner in Thailand which now wears a Legender face, you know (1/8).
Yup, to accompany Toyota Thailand's 60th anniversary, the new Toyota Fortuner version of the White Elephant Country is now fresher.
In this refresh, the new Toyota Fortuner now gets the look of the Fortuner Legender as well as several new features.
Not only that, the lowest variant of the Toyota Fortuner is now getting a new nickname, namely Fortuner Leader.
So what are the changes? Starting from the exterior, the Fortuner Leader gets a new face with a grille and bumper inspired by the Legender.
In addition to the new face, the Fortuner Leader also gets LED rear headlights, black side steps, Leader emblem, and new design 18-inch rims.
Entering the interior, the Fortuner Leader presents a leather-wrapped cabin and some of the latest features.
For example, the Fortuner Leader gets dual zone AC with a PM 2.5 filter, a new Optitron cluster, and an 8-inch head unit screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Then there are electrochromic mirrors, cruise control, paddle shifters and electrically adjusted seats.
In terms of safety, the Fortuner Leader gets an additional Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a 6 position parking sensor.
Oh yes, as a complement, Fortuner Leader is equipped with the T-Connect telematics feature.
Regarding performance, the Fortuner Leader still maintains the 2,393 cc four-cylinder turbo diesel engine as before.
The diesel engine coded 2GD-FTV is capable of spitting out 110 kW or 147 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
Fortuner Leader engine power and torque is channeled to the rear wheels or four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
